We will explore how to increase or overcome each key factor, to grow into a more confident, focused and resilient self-believer.

What is Hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is a form of talk therapy, now recommended by the NHS for many different concerns.
By using relaxation, deepening and visualisation techniques to enter a fully relaxed state, your conscious mind is quieted and positive statements to your now dominant subconscious mind are made. Your beliefs, habits and behaviours are all stored in the subconscious. It can then begin to accept guided imagery and healing words to encourage the behavioural changes you desire.
What happens during hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy can feel different for everyone. However, most people describe it as a feeling of complete relaxation, similar to a meditative or dream-like state. As your body is fully relaxed, your arms and/or legs can feel either light or heavy during the sessions.
Will I fall asleep?
It is unlikely you will fall asleep, although you will feel fully relaxed and comfortable. If you do happen to fall asleep during a live session, I will carry on, as the subconscious mind is still fully aware and taking in the positive suggestions. You will, of course, be woken and fully refreshed before leaving the session.
Will you make me do anything I don't want to?
No, all hypnotherapists follow a code of ethics and, equally, you are very much in control, even in a relaxed state. Hypnotherapy is not about being made to do anything you don't want to. In fact, it is the opposite. It empowers you to make a positive change.
Does it really work?!
Hypnotherapy has the capacity to work for many people. Being fully committed to the process is key. Numerous research has shown it can successfully change your perceptions, habits and behaviour in less time than other conventional talk therapies.
How is it incorporated into The Self-Belief Masterclass?
I will conduct a live hypnotherapy session via Zoom to the group, which has proven very successful. Being in your own home, you are often more comfortable and able to relax fully. Throughout the Masterclass, a series of self-hypnosis audio tracks will be made available for you to listen to at your leisure.

The majority of my negative spirals happened when I became a mum and even though it was such an amazing time, it was also very challenging in so many respects. I had been an independent, self-sufficient person for a very long time and suddenly my whole life changed. Everything from the ability to have normal adult conversations to my finances, my body, my sleep and most importantly, for me, my identity. It felt like everything was thrown up into the air and I literally lost myself.
Luckily, I was more suppressed, rather than eridicated forever! However, I had a few years of identifying as a still ambitious, yet slightly down-trodden, overwhelmed mum who felt guilty, wouldn’t often speak up for herself, a people-pleaser who never felt good enough.
I was scared to take a leap in my career, worried about what other people thought, had a general lack of confidence and was guilt-ridden about doing anything for myself. I felt I always had to put others first and often at the expense of myself. I was simply sabotaging any chance of reigniting who I had been years before and bringing her back into the light.
Fast forward a couple of years and it’s different. I found that by making a transition over time, gradually changing my mindset and giving myself permission to put myself first (obviously, not all the time but more often), I was able to grow my self-assurance and confidence, my self-worth and self-belief, plus respect from those around, to start achieving much more in my life and being the me (or even a better version of the me) that I’d once been.

The minimum time you need to commit to the Masterclass is 1-2 hours a week. The live Zoom sessions will be around an hour (although sometimes we may run over slightly if we're in the midst of a juicy topic!) If you don't feel you'll be able to complete the resources, not a problem. You will have lifetime access to them, to complete at your own pace.
I am a busy Mum of 2 young children, run the household and my business! You can always find the time IF YOU WANT TO!
I would recommend allowing some time to be dedicated to self-hypnosis, as this will begin to help shift your thinking towards the positive. The audio tracks are between 15-40 minutes, which you can incorporate into the 1-2 hours per week).
Not at all. If this is your first experience of any kind of self-development, then welcome! There is likely to be a mix of women attending the Masterclass, those who have already read some books, listened to podcasts or previously attended trainings. However, there will also be ladies who haven't participated in anything like this before and are completely new to both self-development and hypnotherapy. It doesn't matter at all - the Masterclass is designed to suit all levels. Feel free to chat with me in more detail about this.
Each week throughout the 12 weeks of the Masterclass, I will host a live session on Zoom to talk about the specific self-belief topic. This will be an interactive session, where you're also able to ask questions. If you don't have Zoom, you can download onto desktop, tablet or phone and set up an account for FREE. Following each of the live Zoom sessions, there will be downloadable resources available for you to work through. However, these do not have to be completed within the week, as I appreciate life sometimes gets in the way. The Masterclass is designed for busy women and you have lifetime access to the resources, to work through at your own pace. It is entirely your choice whether you complete all of the resources within the 12 week period. If you do, then great, but if not, that is totally fine as well!
Often, friends and family may resist the positive changes you want to make for fear of 'losing' you or them not wanting you to change (even if it is for the better!). This can be difficult if you feel you have no support.
We will be building an encouraging and supportive community of inspiring, like-minded women. We will be advocating each other's journey and so much reassurance, ideas, inspiration and guidance will come through the other ladies in the Masterclass.
I will, of course, be available during the training to support your journey and offer my time to chat with you in between the weekly sessions.

Hypnotherapy is not a 'woo-woo' holistic practice. It is recommended by the NHS for a range of concerns and has been backed by science, showing it has significant affects on your behaviour and habits. If you have ever listened to a guided meditation, hypnotherapy is very simialr in feeling, but produces a tangible outcome.
